Workshop: “Case Study: King County Dept. of Development and Environmental Services”. Today records managers serve a growing number of customers in our organizations. How do we effectively manage this large work load? This workshop will explore how project management can be used to manage small and large records management projects. Techniques can help you to solve common problems with records management projects such as management support and resource allocation. Learn how these techniques were used for the King County Department of Development and Environmental Services records retention schedule project.

Speaker: Patty Holmquist, CRM joined King County Records Management in September 2004. Patty graduated from UPS with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Organizational Behavior. Program: “Use of Technology in an Effective RIM Program”. The rapid pace of technology changes presents both challenges, and solutions to those challenges with respect to effective records management.
