CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

The Bellevue-Eastside/Puget Sound/Greater Seattle ARMA chapters are planning a joint seminar focused on SharePoint training for records managers. Our event will be held in the Seattle – Tacoma region on May 30th, 2013.

We are seeking proposals for sessions on the following topics:

SharePoint 101: What should every Records Manager need to know about SharePoint?

Out of the Box Records Management Solutions/ Implementations: Describe what SharePoint can do out of the box, how to implement an OOTB solution, tips, and best practices. Also looking for presentations of real world implementations of Records Management controls in SharePoint using OOTB tools

Third Party Records Management Solutions for SharePoint: Describe how 3rd party solutions enhance SharePoint’s RM capabilities supported by actual implementations.

How Do I…?: Hands on demonstrations on how to create content types, using content organizer, lists and libraries, key words and taxonomies, Records Center, workflows, etc.

SharePoint 2013: What the future holds for Records Managers: We will consider all presentations relating to records management in SharePoint.
